Designed for data-driven operations, the Field Mag 5000 flow meter is an advanced electromagnetic flow instrument that sets a new standard for high-powered performance, reliability, and value.
The Field Mag 5000 is specifically designed for water transfer, produced water, and blending operations where rugged meters with higher temperature and pressure ratings are required.
While our epoxy liner ensures long-life durability and can withstand temperatures up to 200F (while meeting ANSI pressure standards), the true strength of the system lies in pairing it with the ProComm Max signal transmitter. This powerful combination elevates your flow measurement capabilities to new heights, delivering superior performance across various applications.
The Field Mag 5000 is curated to the mining and water transfer industries, offered with the ever-popular grooved end fittings and welded feet for stability for lay flat hose and ANSI #150 or #300 flanges for flanged pipe applications; electrode sensor materials come equipped with this powered meter.
The Field Mag 5000 features McCrometer’s fusion-bonded epoxy rather than a rubber or plastic liner, guaranteed against tearing and delamination for the lifetime of the meter. This durable, highly rugged flow instrument gives operators and technicians peace of mind that their metering investment will withstand harsh environments and a multitude of flow applications.
Grooved End Fittings vs. Flanged End
Ideal in water transfer, produced water, blending, and mining applications, grooved end connections provide greater ease and speed of installation, lower installation costs, and less down time during installation.
The decrease in weight recognized by the removal of two sets of flanges and grooved end adapters is revolutionary and substantial. If you are connecting to flanged pipe instead of lay flat hose, ANSI #150 and ANSI #300 flanged connections are available as well.
These mag meters use a non-intrusive measurement element and are excellent in harsh environments requiring minimal maintenance with little to no drift over the life of the meter.
The Field Mag 5000 is designed for the following data driven applications:
